Dualiti was designed in a flurry of quick lines, an ode to the intrinsic tension and harmony of identity, an homage to my partner.

A concept in my head, not quite actualised, needing my hands to reckon it out. I wanted something beautiful - a diamond ring my husband could wear that suited everything he is.
The result is a thick, dimensional and fluid piece with an inset of accent gold and 0.75ct diamond to the side. The design, for me, at least in the way I conceptualised it and drafted it was meant to capture myriad forms of gender, fluidity, masculinity and femininity all while celebrating the beauty of identity. Plus, men traditionally don't have really gorgeous diamond rings and wedding bands that have large diamonds in them, so I wanted something that offered something standout to that woefully scarce set of engagement choices.
The Dualiti ring is and always will be a representation of my love for Jason. A love letter to my beloved’s qualities as a human being.
When I think of my husband, I know all of the truisms about him at face value are so, so on point and yet so… not? He seems that big masculine kind of guy, 6’3”, capable, care-taker, a bit of a bull in the right circumstances... He's ridiculously clichéd in that he can literally fix anything in our home, and most things in the car. He embraces such quintessential aspects of masculine acculturation - but I am lucky - he is so much more than a fixer, a protector and provider. He is that hero complex in spades, vulnerable, sweet, devoted, loyal, unwavering.
He's a bit dapper and likes his clothes, and he likes his colognes and if he could find more jewellery he'd wear it (I guess I'll have to design him more). I have no idea why I can't convince him that sunblock is his friend and night time moisturiser is a nice habit to get into... I'm working on it...
If you meet him, in an instant you’ll see what a funny and personable guy he is. This tall guy will talk your ear off, he’ll befriend anyone. He is full of age and wisdom and is damn charming, and yet frankly, the most disarming quality is that of innocence and joy. When he talks your ear off, he really wants to know you. He wants to make connections, real ones, and he will always show his care and attentiveness and love. Always love.
